Ali Zafar has been appearing top headline on news channels after accusing of sexual harassment by fellow musician Meesha Shafi, has sent a legal notice to Aaya Laariye’s hitmaker on Monday, looking for an apology from her.
If Shafi doesn’t provide, has to face result in “damages to the tune of about Rs. 100 million” under Defamation Ordinance, Pakistani media published. Local media published the news considering letter.
The young Pakistani pop star, actor, composer, mentioned that her music fellow Shafi accused of sexual harassment against which is totally wrong, maintains his statement.
According to sources, Zafar has filed insult suit against the a Pakistani actress, model and a singer, if she doesn’t issue an apology to pop star on electronic media ‘delete the tweet dated 19.04.2018’, within given time of two weeks of the notice.
Early hours today, two lawyers of Zafar has announced that a legal notice has sent to Shafi who accused of sexual harassment their client.
While Advocate Ali Sibtain Fazli, legal counsel for the accused, told that they will be giving all possible information of further proceedings in the case to media.
On other hand, Shafi’s lawyer, Ahmad Pansota has claimed to not receive legal notice from Zafar side so far, while the young-female music icon took her Twitter to post ‘I have been subjected.
