Vardhan is not new in the industry, as he has worked as an assistant director at Yash Raj films. He has lent a hand to Habib Faisal in Ishaqzaade and Daawat-e-Ishq and also to Manish Sharma in Shuddh Desi Romance. Vardhan told the media that at first, he was to start with a period-drama with Jayantilal but it couldn’t happen so.
