Majority of the GOT fans backlashed on the singer and criticized his cameo and turns out, one of the most popular actor of the show agrees with them.

Kristian Nairn said in a recent interview that he hated cameos in Game of Thrones, not necessarily limited to Ed Sheeran.

He clarified that he disliked them because they take the magic out of the show. One moment you are immersed in a fantasy world and the stories its residents have to tell, only to brutally fall back to reality because a pop star showed up.

Nairn, best know for his act Hodor, also explained that he means no harm by criticizing Ed Sheeran and other cameos so publically, rather he thinks Ed Sheeran is a pleasant fellow and sings beautifully.

On the other hand, the pop star in question has different opinions and described his appearance on the show as awesome.

Following the adverse reaction, he received from the GOT fans, Sheeran deleted his twitter account but he later claimed that it was not due to the criticism, he had been thinking about leaving the social media network for quite some time.
