Johnny Depp Settles $25 Lawsuit Against Ex-Managing Firm

Johnny Depp has arrived to settle with his ex-managing team, The Management Group, whom he had previously accused of mismanaging his accounts.

Depp charged the company in the law court in 2017, blaming it of swindling, stealing and misconduct in handling the actor’s business and financial interests.

He claimed $25 million over mishandling his earnings which, according to him, left him in more than $40 million debt.

Whereas The Management Group denied all of his accusations, declaring that he was himself responsible for his wealth problems because of his luxurious lifestyle.

Well, now the trial which was all set for August 15 will not be proceeding. However, neither the company nor the actor specified any details about the reached-agreement.

A spokesman, on the behalf of Johnny Depp, told that Depp was satisfied with the result. The statement further added that the lawsuit filed against TMG and the following settling agreement is an additional exhibition that Depp is resolute to take firm action to guard his reputation in regards of his family and profession.

Further, it also states that Johnny is grateful to his fans, who showed confidence in him and supported him at all times.

He is enthusiastic to concentrate on his upcoming project, Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald by JK Rowling. In the meantime, TMG made no comment on the settlement. According to an unknown source, close to TMG, the managing firm is also pleased with it.

The lawsuit filed by Johnny Depp also contained the accusations that the TMG firm, managed by brothers Rob and Joel Mandel, had failed to pay his taxes according to the schedule for a long period of 13 years.

The Mandel brothers hit him back with the counter-suit that highlighted his extravagant spending and luxurious lifestyle.
