Marvel Characters Coming Out of the Closet Avengers 4 LGBTQ + Hero

Kevin Feige announced to fans that Marvel Cinematic Universe will feature more LGBT representation in the upcoming films. At least two characters, one already known and the other brand new, are reported to come out of the closer in the next movie, namely Avengers 4.


The president of Marvel Studios made the statement in a recent interview while promoting the UK release of The Ant and the Wasp, where he revealed that two characters representing the LGBT community will soon be featured in the Marvel films in the near future.

Marvel Studios has been under fire for a long time of its lack of LGBT representation in the universe.

Even the characters who identify with LGBT sexuality in the comics has been cut off in the movies, leaving fans and critics, disappointed. Fans and reporters alike, have also raised questions about the matter on multiple occasions, to no avail.

However,Kevin Feige’s latest announcement has finally lightened the situation and fans are excited about the new development.

As to the identity of the above mentioned LGBT characters, many guesses have been made, with more fans believing that one of the said LGBT character is Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok, a bisexual in the original comic.

The actress portraying Valkyrie has already admitted to Valkyrie being openly bisexual and even filmed a scene in the movie, reportedly showing a female leaving her bedroom, which unfortunately, did not make the final director’s cut.

As to the identity of the brand new character representing LGBT community, fan scan only hope it’s one of their favorites.

Although, nothing concrete can be said about the superhero or super heroine’s identity, fans are making wild conjectures regarding Avengers 4 and the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which are set to be released in the summer of next year.
