Nokia 5.1 Plus (Nokia X5); Price, Release Date, Features, Specs, Display Notch, Dual Rear Camera

On July 18, HDM Global held an unveiling ceremony, which, as reports say, revealed the newest smartphone from the franchise, Nokia X5.


The launching ceremony was earlier planned for July 11 but it got postponed to July 18 due to some problems with the venue. Lately, the phone has been gossiped about by many.

After some time, Nokia X5 will travel abroad also, dissimilar to Nokia X6 which was revealed only in China. Nonetheless, it will be renamed as Nokia 5.1 Plus for its international unveiling.

Turning to the features, Nokia X5 is equipped with a 5.86 inch HD+ display and a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. A Corning Gorilla glass shields the display of the handset.

The phone also contains 84% screen-to-body ration and an aspect ratio of 19:9 for the display. It also holds an octa-core Media Tek Helio P60 paired with a RAM of 3GB/4GB.

Two variants of the phone have been launched by the firm, one with a 3GB RAM and the other with a 4GB RAM. Handset equipped with a 3GB RAM costs 999 Yuan, which is approximately 10,200 rupees.

This price is less than the cost of Nokia X6 which was disclosed earlier this year in China. The one with 4GB RAM is priced 1399 Yuan, approx. 14,300 rupees.

Nokia X5 will be available to buy in three different colors, black, white and blue at the retailer shops starting July 19.

Where internal storage is concerned, Nokia X5 presents us an aboard storage of 32GB/64GB and its owners will also be able to increase the storing capacity by putting in an SD card.

The new handset carries Android 8.1 Oreo OS and will also get an Android P update also. Furthermore, it also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
