February 2018 comes out lucky for a number of Hindi films as Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat secures its ruling at box office, while Akshay Kumar starrer biographical comedy-drama film PadMan is facing toughest competition to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Padmaavat is one of the finest directorial of Hindi filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who released its history drama-action film on 25 January, as of the Padmaavat secures its ruling cinemas in country as well as overseas theaters.
Although the film has bagged a total of Rs 288.43 crore so far, even named first film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in 2018.
On other side, Girish Johar, Indian trade analyst had prediction that Bhansali’s directorial will be creating history at box office and will be remembered with glorious success.
However, the Padmaavat had to face a number of controversies, in spite of that master piece of artistic work by Bhansali including its cast made possible incredible success of the venture.
On other side, Karni Sena and CBF did all possible efforts to stop the feet of Bhansali to success, even the film underwent the indefinite postponement for its release, and even the film has emerged toughest contender for other massive releases as Padman and Aiyaary.
When it comes to Akshay Kumar starrer social drama Padman, has minted a total of Rs 80 crore yet and on way to win title of Rs 100 crore easily but the film has to face bit competition to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety contains young stars.
Girish Johar stated over the PadMan, saying the film covers all that may take it beyond box office numbers, while his remarks indicate the strong subject of the film that has been believed a forbidden in the Indian society for far too long.
