Sanju Movie, Ranbir Kapoor Starrer, Breaks Records As It Enters 300-Crore Club

As the incredible and amazing opening of Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju dazzled all, the film collected approximately Rs 34 crore at the ticket window first day.


First week proved a huge success for the film. Sanju grossed Rs 12 crore approximately on day 7 which led the film into the most esteemed 200-crore club.

As expected from Raj kumaar Hirani’s film, Sanju raked in money at the Box Office just like his PK, 3 Idiots and Munnabhai franchise.

Sanju, his latest film, is a biographical film based on Bollywood’s superstar Sanjay Dutt’s life. It covers Sanjay Dutt’s drug troubles and his relationship with his father, late actor and politician Sunil Dutt.

Many benchmarks have been set by the Ranbir Kapor starrer. Having smashed several Box Office records, Sanju has beaten Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, Race 3 as Sanju’s 5 day collection equals the total collection of Race 3 and also it has become the highest opener of the year so far.

The film became a success regardless of the timing and without any kind of festival or an extended event.

Sanju has won the hearts of a large number of people and therefore has become the highest grosser in any weekend in 2018.

Hence, to celebrate this enormous success, makers of the film recently hosted a success bash which none of the star cast left unattended.

The film has been doing well not only domestically but also has done an incredible business worldwide. The great biopic is being loved by audience as well as critics.

Talking about his biopic, Sanjay praised Ranbir Kapoor’s extraordinary acting in the film and said that the film is fantastic and truth has been portrayed in it.

Apart from RanbirKapoor, cast of the film also includes SonamKapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, ManishaKoirala, DiaMirza, KarishmaTanna and PareshRawal starred in significant roles portraying the important people in Sanjay Dutt’s life. Sanjay praised the hard works that had been put in the film by all the cast and crew.
