Paul Mccartney Announces Dates Of His First 2018 Tour, Freshen Up

Sir Paul McCartney has recently announced the dates of his first 2018 world tour named ‘’Freshen Up’’. The musician is set to visit Canada on four dates in September. Check out the details of the tour below.

According to the former Beatle, the tour will be supporting his new forthcoming solo album ‘’Egypt Station’’ which will be releasing on September 7, his first album since 2013’s New.

Greg Kurstin has largely produced Paul’s seventeenth solo LP. The legendary rocker has just released two singles, I Don’t Know and Come On To Me to support his upcoming album and has been increasing his public appearances lately.

His previously announced appearance at Austin City Limits in Texas in October suggests that he will be making more appearances during the fall in North America.

In a statement, he said that he likes the words Egypt Station. The words remind him of the albums they used to make. Egypt Station’s first song begins at a station and then each song acts as a different station.

In June, McCartney said that he wishes to increase the cycle of support for his new solo album by some concerts on smaller scale, like the one he played in Liverpool with James Corden for the Late Late Show, alongside his large scale concerts.

Elaborating the meaning behind the title of his 2018 tour ‘’Freshen Up’’ , he said that he desires to freshen up the show by playing some of the previous songs you like to hear alongside the new ones.
